Exhibitions

Ged first became well-known as an artist in the mid-1980s while competing internationally in skateboarding, writing for skateboard magazine R.A.D and founding the Insane clothing brand.

He has exhibited in London and Tokyo, exhibitions include ‘Insane Birds’, ‘Bears of Paradise’ and ‘Cats Lick Sinners’. He designed the Idler magazine snail logo and one hundred of his illustrations can also be found in The Book of Idle Pleasures, published by Ebury Press.

His recent exhibitions have included; ‘Skullduggerous’ and ‘Water Pots’ in aid of the Bhopal Medical appeal, ‘The Rambling Pachyder’macs’ and ‘Plateau of Radiant Elephant’ at the Port Eliot arts festival, ‘Time and Relative Dimensions in Strawberry’ within a transformed strawberry telephone kiosk in Llanfrynach Wales and several of his sculptures formed part of the ‘Fleurnication’ group show at The Modern Institute in Glasgow. Recent commissions include images and maquettes for Louis Vuittons jewellery collection Bijoux Fantaisie.
